Results question

Tested negative but shortly after 15 min a faint line appeared above the purple control line. What does that mean?

Just to confirm there was nothing below the control line where results would be.

Hi Lo Thanks for your question. The mark that you have described can happen when the ambient temperature is high, as now. The mark is caused by excessive evaporation of the buffer solution. The buffer evaporates and before the background of the test strip can be washed clear. The control line and the test line can only appear in the positions marked on the results reading guide. And as such these marks should not be confused with a line. I hope that this helps to put your mind at ease. Kind regards Gary Carpenter BioSure (UK) Limited
