Worries 93

Hi

I have had 3 tests since possible exposure and would like to know the reliability of my results?

1 test one year after exposure
2 tests two years after exposure

All came back negative (One control line)

I am still very worried!!

Hi Worried 93. With all the tests that you have undertaken and given the time after your possible exposure I can guarantee you that all of the results could not be wrong. The BioSURE HIV test picks up the types of antibodies that would hang around in your blood practically forever. I am aware that for some people accepting a negative result can be just as difficult as a positive result. But my advice is that this is exactly what you should do. Accept that your HIV status is negative. We all have plenty to worry about in life, for you one thing that you can definitely cross off your list is HIV. I hope that this helps put your mind at rest. Kindest regards Francesca Bard, BioSure (UK) Ltd
