Almost two years ago I had stupidly unprotected sex with a ‘friend’ of mine. Totally out of character for me and I knew I was clear of STDs before sleeping with him. He, knowingly or not, passed on chlamydia and HSV which I found out about when I went to a doctors appointment after awful sores appeared all over my vagina. Because this was only a week or two after exposure, I couldn’t take a full STD blood test as I would’ve likely got false negative results. I have put off having this test for two years as I was so afraid (he is of African decent and also apparently is quite sexually risky). Thankfully my result came out as negative today and now I can finally put my mind to rest. Can you please confirm that my negative result is accurate so I can forget about this once and for all.
