burst condom

Hi.. I had an experience of burst condom during my intercourse. After that I had some symptoms like diarrhea, sore throat, joint pain, etc. I took PCR RNA test and HIV anti combo test after 7 weeks . Both were negative. After 8 months of Post exposure I taken 4th generation antigen/ antibody test. Still I’m worried about symptoms. Can I test again to conclusive my results?

Hi Worried hiv, thank your for contacting BioSure. Given your time post exposure and the nature of the test used (4th gen) I would say your result is conclusive however I am no expert and to confirm this I would contact the place where your tests were performed. I would say there would be no need to retest however if you think it would help put your mind at rest I would recommend the BioSURE HIV self test as it is super easy, extremely accurate and will give you your result in 15 minutes.
