Worried about the test

Hi can you get infected after using this test?
Also what’s the guarantee that you give to people after using this test?

Hi Worried001, If your only possible exposure was 10 years ago and you received a negative result using a BioSure test then your result is wholly accurate and is conclusive - you do not need to retest. HIV is a virus that without treatment will inevitably progress into AIDS. HIV will multiply in the body until the immune system is severely damaged. The progression of the virus takes approximately 10 years, during this time the individual will gradually become more and more ill as the immune system is weakened. If you were to have contracted HIV 10 years ago from a possible exposure, it is very likely that you would be feeling some of the effects of AIDS. I hope this information helps, if you have any other questions please feel free to leave them below. Kindest regards, Becky

I am a healthy person but the reason that I took the test was just to know and check after 10 years. I had an negative results, do I need to get another test by lab???

Hi Worried001, The test process and test itself is harmless. There are no harmful solutions or anything that can cause infection. We offer advice and information to those who use our test including links to support and advice regarding what to do if someone receives a positive result. I hope this information helps, if you have any other questions please feel free to leave them below. Kindest regards, Becky
