Hi team biosure – I had just done a biosure self test yesterday 252 days after my encounter with a female. Unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. I got sick and had some symptoms but my result at 252 days using biosure test was negative. Do I now need a restest – or should I just move on from this incident? I am very worried as symptoms persist.

Hi guilty husband. Your negative result after 252 days is a conclusive negative result and is reliable. Generally these symptoms arise due to things such as guilt and stress post exposure and are not usually related to HIV. It is easier said than done however you need to accept your negative result and move on from the incident. I hope this helps Francesca Bard, BioSure (UK) Ltd
