Hi crew, I had an unprotected sex like 3times on different basis with a lady, later i discovered she is positive and she’s on meds for about 3 months before my exposure. I ran a test after 3 weeks, it came out negative. Am so so worried about this. please, whats the probability that i may be infected?

Hi Relief, I understand that this is a very stressful situation. I would like to begin by saying it is very encouraging that the woman knew her status and was on treatment. The chances of contacting the virus will be dependant on the woman's viral load for example if her viral load is undetectable then she cannot pass the virus on. I would recommend visiting a GUM clinic to get your negative result confirmed and to help out your mind at rest. I hope this has helped but please don't hesitate to contact me further.
