Testing accuracy - time to move on

Hello
I am a male who had unprotected sexual intercourse with a female of unknown status 10 months ago. I took a biosure test last month which showed 1 clear test line only, negative. Is this conclusive or do I need to visit a healthcare professional? Please help as I’d really like to move on from this as it is causing me to have irrational thoughts and fears. Thank you

Thank you Becky. Does this mean it is a conclusive result and I do not have HIV? (This was my last encounter)

Hi Ted, If you have tested around 9 months after your last possible exposure and received a negative result then your result is reliable and you do not need to retest. Our test has a window period of 12 weeks so as long as you test after that, your result is accurate. Kindest regards, Becky
