Test at 3 and 4 months

Hi, I used a bio sure test at 3 and 4 months, as well as 4th Generation tests at 4,6 and 12 weeks following an unprotected exposure. Google is awful for reassurance, what are the chances of a false negative despite all of these results? I did have a few non specific symptoms during the window period, but if any of these were due to infection, these tests would have picked them up, is that right?

Thank you!

Hi Rhs4321, Unfortunately I can only comment on BioSure test results. Any result using the BioSure HIV self-test 12 weeks post exposure is accurate and your results are conclusive. A false negative is highly unlikely, if you have tested outside of the window period, especially if you have performed two tests outside of this period. If you experienced any HIV related symptoms, they may have been due to stress, anxiety or guilt, regardless the tests would have been able to detect this. Kindest regards, Becky, BioSURE UK LTD
