Syphilis prozone

I have recently used biosure at 91 days after high risk exposure which came back negative. However 34 days after exposure I got fever for 2 nights with a cough and sore throat for 10 days and for the last 3 week I’ve been experiencing lameness and pain in my hips and legs, pulsing in my ears and vertigo. I’ve read something about prozone phenomenon with syphilis/hiv coinfection would the cause a hiv false negetive on biosure test at 91 days.

Hi Coinfection concern. Your BioSure test at 91 days is conclusive. If your symptoms were related to HIV then your test would have produced a positive line. I would recommend you visiting your GP regarding your symptoms to rule out anything serious however it could be a cause of stress and anxiety. I hope this helps. Kindest regards Francesca Bard, BioSure (UK) Ltd
