Self-testing - Easy and reliable
I have very severe health anxiety, specially about HIV even though I do not indulge in unsafe behaviour. The 1-2 days waiting time at most sexual health clinics to get back HIV test results are usually a torture.
This is where the quick and fast self-test kit helps me. The results show up within 15 minutes and the tests are highly accurate 3 months post-exposure. I am glad that self-testing is made easily accessible in the UK.
