Safety lancet

Is it normal/safe for a safety lancet to not click the first time, but then click and work on the second attempt?

Hi there, It may just be that you did not press hard enough the first time. The lancets are single-use and can only fire once so as long as it fired on the second attempt and you were able to collect your blood sample then it is completely safe and fine. Hope this helps. All the best, Becky
