It is 1,5 years since My exposure have not been sexual active for 1,5 years. So my question is if i can trust this negative test or if i have to drag myself to a clinic and test there to be sure? Symptoms and testing

Hi, I have experienced low fever of 37.5 to 37.8 in nearly 1 week, not constant. Three days ago I started to get numb and slightly pirking on my face. I took a INSTI HIV SELFTEST (23.02) yesterday and a BIO SURE SELFTEST today (24.02) (68days) Almost 10 weeks since exposure. Do you think that one of the two tests would have reacted if I am infected with HIV? I'm going to take a test about 2uker to be 100% sure, but right now I'm pretty far down off fear :(

Hi Scared Thank you for contacting us. The test is extremely accurate at detecting HIV infections that occurred more than 3 months before the test was taken, as in your case. We can say that chances of it being wrong are less than 1 in a 1,000. We just cannot guarantee that your negative result is correct. I hope that this helps. Kind regards Gary Carpenter BioSure (UK) Limited
