Psych medications

I took two biosure tests back to back and both were negative. I’m also on antipsychotic, benzos, and an antidepressant. Would these medications affect the outcome of the test? Would it prevent the tests from detecting the antibodies?

Hi Crissy, the medication yo are on would not affect the result of your test. There are really only two things that can affect the result of a BioSure HIV self test. The first being on anti-retroviral treatment for HIV and the other would be if you have been vaccinated against HIV. I hope this helps and thank you for choosing BioSure.
