Hi,

Please can you advise if the autoimmune response is psoriasis can cause false positives with the test?

What type of HIV test is the Biosure kit?

HI another anxiety sufferer. There are really only two things that can affect the result of a BioSure HIV self test. The first being on anti-retroviral treatment for HIV and the other would be if you have been vaccinated against HIV. The BioSURE HIV self test is a second test, the looks for antibodies to HIV rather than the virus itself. I hope this helps but please don’t hesitate to contact me further.
