Hi - my name's Michael Brady. I'm an HIV doctor and also work for the Terrence Higgins Trust. We do understand that this is a really difficult and upsetting time - but Gary is right -there is a lot of help and support we can offer you. Please do call Gary on the number he gave you and, if it's OK with you, I can give you a call to discuss things as well. Alternatively you can call THT Direct on 0808 802 1221 - they will be able to advise and support you as well. If you ordered your test for free from THT then please do go on-line and record that your result was positive (it's completely confidential) and then I'll be able to call you directly. All the best and hopefully speak to you soon. Michael

Hi Help I am very glad that you have contacted us. Please contact us immediately, my mobile is 07702 538338 or call THT on 0808 802 1221, but this line doesn't open until 10. I know that what you are feeling at the moment will be awful. We need to get you to talk to us or someone at THT. There is most definitely a way forwards. Treatment and counselling will get you through this. At the moment you and only you know your status. We will make sure that this stays the case. PLEASE CALL ME AS SOON AS YOU CAN.
