Hi Silly man, A negative result 12 weeks post exposure can be considered as conclusive and you do not need to retest. Practising safe sex is an effective method of protection against all sexually transmitted infections, including HIV. Kindest regards, Becky, BioSURE UK LTD

Hi Silly man, I would like to start by saying well done for testing as that is sometimes the hardest step. Could you please confirm that this was the BioSURE HIV self test? If it was as long as you tested 12 weeks after your exposure and received a single control line then your result is conclusive. If it was not I would either recommend contacting the provider of your test or re-testing using BioSure. I hope this helps. Kindest regards Francesca Bard, BioSure (UK) Ltd
