Is lancet secure?

Hi I would like to ask is the lancet sterilised and doesn’t cause any harm.
I didn’t had any exposure but I just wanted to check after 10 years. Can it be possible to get infected by having this test I know is a CE marked but am getting very anxious after having that test. The test came negative which I was expecting that. Do I have to do another test by lab??

HI Anxious002, The lancet is sterilised before it is sealed within the pouch, it is also single use so it is visible to see whether the lancet had been tampered with before use. There is nothing harmful within the test or anything that can harm you from using the test. You cannot become infected from using the test. If your test result was negative then your result is conclusive and you do not need to retest. Kindest regards, Becky
