I'm not sure if the test is accurate
I followed the directions of the test however after 15 minutes the result was not showing as I realised I had not pushed the device into the pot deep enough. So after 15 minutes i took the device out, places it on its side then I pushed the device into place and waited another 15 minutes. So after 30 minutes I the result showed negative. Is this result accurate even though I did not follow the procedure properly?

Hi Piert12, it is really unusual to not have any lines on the test, but it does show that something has not gone right. The control line (negative result line) will only appear if enough blood has been applied, the tip of the test has been pushed right to the bottom of the buffer pot and everything has been mixed correctly. I think we have chatted on Facebook, but please can you email us directly at info@biosure.co.uk if the situation has not been resolved. Thank you for getting in touch.

Hello, I bought the kit 4months ago and I had the test just today with no results. I'm concerned about it, no lines at all. What can I do now?

Hi SamoJ91
Thanks for getting in touch.
The device is very robust to small errors in test procedure. The main thing is the triggering of the control line. This proves that the test procedure has been completely and that the result received is valid. The control line will only trigger if the sample and the buffer have migrated through the test device correctly. The small error made in performance will not have affected the result.
Your negative result is valid and will be accurate.
I hope that this helps.
Kind regards
