I took a biosure test after 7 weeks

Hi. I took a biosure test after 7 weeks of possible exposure and it came back negative. I want to find out if there could be any chance of the test turning positive at 12 weeks. Thank you

Hi Please Help 01, A negative result at 7 weeks is a good indication of your status as at 6 weeks, 95% of people will have produced enough antibodies for the test to give an accurate result. However, there is no way of knowing whether you are in that 95% so we would always recommend to retest at 12 weeks. I cannot say for sure that your result will not change but your negative result at 7 weeks is a very good indication of a negative HIV status. Kindest regards, Becky
