I did a rapid test

Hi I’m Jane. I did a rapid test and it was positive at first. 30 mins later there was a faint line that later disappeared after 5 mins. Bought Biosure and it was negative. The first test kit wasn’t Biosure.

Hi Jane, Sorry to hear that. It would be interesting to know which rapid test you used the first time around and also the time since exposure when you used the test. It may be that the first test gave a false positive result or the test itself was not regulated and therefore was unable to provide an accurate result. If your negative result using a BioSURE test was negative 12 weeks post exposure then your result is accurate, reliable and conclusive - which means you do not need to retest. I hope this helps to ease your mind a little. Kindest regards, Becky
