I have tested negative on 95 day using biosure I was putting this behind me until i spoke to a healthcare provider they say if I have been exposed to HIV 1 it would take 3 months to show but if I have been exposed to HIV 2 it can take up to 6 months to produce antibodies is this correct or false?

Hi Dontknow, I have never heard of the different types of HIV taking different times for immune response. I have also spoken to our clinical and regulatory director and he is also unsure of the information your healthcare professional has provided you with. The BioSURE HIV self test is conclusive at 12 weeks, we have been part of many studies in order to prove this. I hope this has helped and sorry I couldn't help you more. Kindest regards Francesca Bard, BioSure (UK) Ltd
