HIV encounter

I had a low risk HIV encounter as I gave a blowjob with no ejaculation. I tested negative at 8 and 12 weeks with a 4th Gen test . but I read where it could be 6 months before you test positive and every little thing that is wrong with me I relate to HIV

Hi anxiety is horrible, This is a low risk encounter but HIV can still be passed through pre-cum without ejaculation. 4th generation tests are usually conclusive after 4 weeks so your results at 8 and 12 weeks are good indicators of your result. Your symptoms could be related to anxiety and worry and nothing else. I would recommend that if you are still anxious and experiencing symptoms, it would not hurt to do another test just to be sure. Any second generation test, like BioSure's, will be accurate and conclusive from 12 weeks. Kindest regards, Becky
