I live in a small country where you’re always guaranteed to run into someone you know or knows your family, so at times even going to the supermarket is a nightmare, let alone going to the GU clinic for testing.

Having the possibility of testing myself in the privacy of my home, in my own time is a godsend.

The test is very easy but do make sure that you read it in a well lit area! I took my test in a room with soft lighting and thought that the test did not work, when indeed it had. In my case it took around 20 minutes to show the results clearly, possibly because I did not draw enough blood.

I’m really happy and grateful that it is possible to perform such tests from the comfort of my own home.
