worried after 4 months

I just took a biosure test after nearly 4 months of my exposure I came back negative since I had my incident. I had sex with my wife as well I’m worried because my wife came back positive with flu and strep she was sick for 2 weeks. Now she has developed a rash she has had the rash for few days it hasn’t spread from the area that appeared. My question is if I came back negative after 4 months I couldn’t have gave hiv to my wife right? I’m just worried after 4 months

Hi worried12345, Any result after 12 weeks using a BioSure test is conclusive. But if you are negative then no there is no chance of HIV transmission to your wife. Kindest regards, Becky
