Faulty tests?

I did 2 tests outside the window and they both can back negative with a control line. If these tests were faulty or manufactured incorrectly would the control line still appear?

Hi Dani, The BioSURE HIV self test has a built in sample control line, so if your test was faulty or the test was not performed correctly, the control line would be absent and it would be very easy to tell that your test had failed. 2 negative results outside of the window period can be relied upon greatly and you do not need to retest. Kindest regards, Becky
