Faint spreading underneath Control Line - Biosure Query

Hi,

I did a test yesterday and checked after 15 minutes. There was a clear control line, and absolutely no other lines, but underneath the control line there was some (what I presume was the) blood and buffer solution moving up, just underneath the control line. Is it normal to still see the solution moving up after the 15 mins?

I checked again about twenty minutes later and this had started to fade, still no other line, and then checked about two hours later (then realised obviously I shouldn’t – only been 15mins and a 1hr) and the lower half of the test trip had started to show a bit of red. I presume this is normal, but just wanted to reach out and check. As I say, no other line at all just the control line and then the red floating up in a sort of ball shape underneath.

Thanks

Hi otis123, Yes, this is completely normal, nothing to worry about. As long as the control line is present and there is no line where the test line should be then your result is negative. Hope this helps! All the best, Becky
