Did my test work?

I placed the strip in the buffer pot and lots of blood went up the strip and not the purple line.. I then realised I needed to push the strip down a little more into the buffer pot which I did a couple of minutes after starting the test, then a couple of minutes after the control line appeared. Does that mean my test ran properly and my result is valid?

Dear LH Yes, it does mean that your test has run correctly. The control line is the critical thing in this process, as long as the control line has come up, this means that you have performed the test correctly. I hope that this helps. Kind regards Gary Carpenter BioSure (UK) Limited
