I’m quite afraid of medical equipment so I managed to squeeze some blood out of my finger without lancet and dropped onto a dish then sucked it up (straight away). Has this impacted my result if I did not apply the tube straight to my finger? Quite worried.

No your unusual method for sample collection will have had no effect on your test result. But I think the safety lancet would probably have been less traumatic or painful.
