Control line Clarification

Hi

I had done the test and found only the control line. But i am being paranoid whether the test strip already had the control line before even inserting the buffer. Just imagining things whether i already got a faulty one shipped which has control line by default. Hope i am imagining things, but good to get it clarified.

Regards

Hi I have taken two biosure test in span of 2 weeks and both came negative. My window period was well over 3 months and i am really happy and my mind agrees that i don't have HIV from my previous worry of encounter. As i am about to relax, my mind is controlling me to take another test after 3 months since it is telling me that the first test taken is defective and that i had used launcet to prick blood which might have contacted with virus and have gone into the launcet pricked cut and entering into my bloodstream. Hi Silentbull Sometimes the background from the test strip does not clear on the very edges of the test strip. THIS IS NOT PART OF ANY LINE. You have correctly read your test result as NEGATIVE. The test line can only appear as a horizontal line in the position marked in the instructions for use. I hope that helps. Kind regards Gary Carpenter BioSure (UK) Limited

Hi Gary Thanks for the response. That ensured me . One other clarification is that although only the control line appeared, there are bit of stains in the corner from the control line color. I am sure it is not blood, maybe the dye from control line in the sides and below. I hope this does not mean the test line is appearing in the sides as staines. Until and unless there is no second straight line, i think we are sure isn't? I am aware of faint red mark below the test line and i am not referring those. Once the control line came, there were faint dye marks on the sides . Hope you understood what i meant.

Hi silentbull Thanks for getting in contact with us. I can assure that the control would not have been present before the test shipped to you. The test is manufactured under the strictest of quality assurance systems and the process through which the test goes to get to you is controlled, monitored and audited by independent, government approved bodies. The control line can only be triggered by applying human blood and the buffer solution. I hope that this helps to put your mind at rest, Kind regards Gary Carpenter BioSure (UK) Limited
