Contrast from CAT scan

I did a Biosure test 3 weeks after having a CAT scan done. Can the contrast (iodine based) used for the scan affect the test in any way? I was told that the contrast stays in the body for up to 2 months.

Hi Curiousgirl, There is no evidence to suggest that the iodine based solution that is given before a CAT scan will affect the test or result in any way. Kindest regards, Becky
