Biosure at 54 days and Gum clinic at 55 days

Hi, my possible exposure was on 15th October. I have tested with biosure at 15 days, 6weeks 1 days and also at 54 days. All were negative and with anxiety I had also been to gum clinic on 55th day, results came back after 10 days and it was all negative. They had confirmed the result wasn’t negative.

How reliable is biosure at 7weeks 5days(54days)?
Is the test done at one to one center(gum clinic) at 55 days is conclusive ?

I’m still anxious. I have got very mild cold and sneezes and muscle pains but not severe. Don’t know if they are related to seroconversion or am I worrying too much ?

I will be anyways testing with biosure at 12 weeks and I’m aware of it. Can you kindly answer about 2 questions above ?

Hi Anxiety 01, At 6 weeks, 95% of people will have produced enough antibodies for the test to accurately detect a result. So it really just depends on each individuals' body and its ability to produce antibodies - that's why we say 12 weeks as a window period - to give your body enough time to produce enough antibodies for the test to accurately detect the virus and give a conclusive result. Usually the tests carried out at GUM clinics are conclusive as they look for antibodies and antigens to the virus and therefore there is often a smaller or virtually no window period. Your symptoms may simply be a result of the winter season and you may be over worrying. But if you are still anxious about your status, I would recommend to retest at 12 weeks using our test for a conclusive result. Kindest regards, Becky BioSure (UK) Ltd.
