Article on the internet - condom risk?

Hi I recently had a few sexual encounters with girls who I dont know their HIV status. I used a condom from beginning to end with all of them. What bothers me is that I read an article on the internet that says that condoms can’t prevent HIV. Is that true? What risk is there if you use condoms? Should I get tested?

Hi Confused guy, from the incident described your risk is virtually zero and there is little need to test because of this incident however we recommend regular testing if you are sexually active. Condoms are a form of barrier contraception and therefore are the only way to prevent against STI's when having sex. I hope this helps put your mind at rest. Kindest regards Francesca Bard, BioSure (UK) Ltd
