hello – I took a HIV test at 90 days which came back negative. Is this for both HIV 1 and 2 as I have heard from people acquiring HIV 2 can cause a delayed seroconversion response longer than 12 weeks window period. Can I put this behind me and move on with my life? Kind regards

Hi Anxious5, your test at 90 days is conclusive and you now know your status. The BioSURE HIV self test looks for both HIV 1 and 2. As you could imagine our test has been through numerous studies and evaluations and we have proven that at 12 weeks (84 days) our test can be deemed conclusive. I hope this helps put your mind at rest so that you are now able to move forward making more informed choices. Kindest regards Francesca Bard, BioSure (UK) Ltd
