Anxiety/ overthinking

Hi I recently used the biosure self test (over 3 months post potential exposure) and it appeared negative. Can you clarify that one line is indeed negative? It’s not possible for the test to partially run and show only the test line?

Thanks

Hi ThinkPositive, The BioSure test is conclusive after 12 weeks. Your negative result at 10 weeks is a very good indication but I would always recommend to test 12 weeks post exposure for an accurate and conclusive result. I hope this information helps. Kindest regards, Becky, BioSURE UK LTD

Hi, I had a biosure test that says negative at week 10, I have no symptoms. Is it safe to say i don't have hiv?

Hi Paranoid01, this is a very good question and something that is often asked. As long as you have a control/negative line your test has worked. This can ONLY appear if the test has run as it should and sufficient sample has been applied. As long as your exposure was more than 12 weeks ago (which yours has) then this result is deemed conclusive. I hope this helps and thank you for choosing BioSure.
