Hi Worry3 Thanks for getting in touch with us. To answer your questions: 1. The BioSURE HIV Self Test will detect antibodies more than 2 years post infection. We have had positive results when testing people who have been positive for 10 years and on treatment for HIV. 2. It is virtually impossible that two BioSURE HIV Self Tests would both be falsely negative. 3. The BioSURE HIV Self Test can detect HIV infection from about 5 weeks after infection. However, some people will not produce antibodies to HIV until 12 weeks post infection. As such we say that the test may not be accurate if taken earlier than 12 weeks after possible exposure.
