Amount of blood required?

Hi there,

I took the test at home recently but for some reason no matter how hard I tried the piece that takes in the blood just refused to fill up. I think I only managed to get one drop of blood into it. By then blood was no longer coming out of the cut the lancet made and I was forced to do the test with the one drop of blood I had.

If there was not enough blood would the test come back as failed? Mine came back as negative but I’m unsure about the result due to the small amount of blood used.

Thanks

Hi Aquaman11. If the control line has appeared I can confirm your test has worked. This negative/control line can only appear if you have performed your test correctly and enough blood sample has been used. I hope this helps. Kindest regards, Francesca Bard, BioSure (UK) Ltd
