I used the test this morning

Hi there I used the test this morning and noticed the blood didn’t go upward on the test kit but after two minute I saw the negative result ( one line only ) unlike the previous test which I could see the blood was moving up this time the test was clear only the single negative line appeared and it was very quick , did the test work ?
