Accuracy at 10 and a half weeks with biosure

Good day

Recently found out that a person i had intercourse with has HIV. We had protected sex but also had orally sex with out protection.

I did a test at 74 days and shows negative. How accurate is this.

Hi concerned citizen, I will start by saying that is is very reassuring that your partner knew they had HIV as treatment these days is extremely advanced and effective. In regards to your test result this is also reassuring however you will need to retest at 12 weeks to confirm this result. The BioSURE HIV self test accuracy never changes however due to the nature of the test and how individuals immune systems work a negative test cannot be deemed conclusive till post 12 weeks.
