6 weeks accuracy

Hi. I had sex with a woman with condom, but I  don’t know her status (HIV positive or not) . So I decided to take a third generation antibody rapid test. I got negative results (4 weeks and 6 weeks after that). Is it accurate?

Hi Worried005, As you have used a test that is not the BioSure HIV Self Test, I am unsure of the accuracy and I am unable to comment on any result. I would suggest retesting, with our test ( BioSure HIV Self Test) or the same test you used before, 12 weeks post exposure to ensure that your result is accurate. Kindest regards, Becky
