5 weeks negative using biosure

Can a 5 week negative change to positive after 12 weeks?

Hi Post, A negative result at 5 weeks is a good indication of your status as at 6 weeks, around 95% of people will have produced enough antibodies for the BioSURE HIV Self Test to be able to accurately detect infection. However, every one produces antibodies at different rates so it may be that your body has not produced enough antibodies. It's hard to say whether your negative result will change so I would always recommend to retest at 12 weeks for a conclusive result. I hope this helps, Becky.
