2 negative tests

I have taken 2 Biosure tests well outside the window period which have both been negative. Can anyone reassure me that I can leave this behind me or is there still a chance I need to test again?

Hi Worried Guy , Thanks for getting in touch. Yes, the test would work if you had been infected 10 or more years ago. The test looks for antibodies which stay with you for life. So if you had been infected, the test would show it. I hope that this helps. Kind regards Gary Carpenter BioSure (UK) Limited

Had a fling nearly 10 and half or 11 years ago. Tested negative on biosure self test kit. Does the product work for that long period? Still unsure - Please advise. Many thanks. Worried guy

Dear Anxiety111 The chances of both of your tests providing an incorrect result are around 1 in a million. We would strongly advise against testing again and you can be confident in the knowledge of your negative HIV status. I hope that this helps. Kind regards Gary Carpenter BioSure (UK) Limited
