Hi Worried006, If you are having problems with your skin, these symptoms alone do not suggest that you have been infected with HIV, especially if you have not had a risky exposure. The most common symptoms of HIV infection are flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, aches and pains etc. Regardless, if your result has come back as negative then you can put this behind you and move on knowing that you are HIV negative. I hope this information helps, Becky

Hi -  thank you for your reply. I did had that test the reason was becouse I had a very bad skin issues lately. And I google it and they saying that skin issues can be coused by hiv - not that I had put myself at risk. The result came negative. I pray to god that the test is safe and I didn’t put myself at risk just by using this test.

Hi worried006, The BioSURE HIV self test will have no effect or harm on the end user, it is completely safe and fine to use however there is no need for someone to test for HIV who has not had a risk or exposure. The only way that someone can contract HIV is through having unprotected sex with someone else who is HIV positive or through injected drug use, when users share needles with those who are HIV positive. If you have not had a risk, you do not need to test for HIV. I hope this helps, you can read more about HIV exposure here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/hiv-and-aids/causes/ Kindest regards, Becky
