The nurse-led community service...
I’d just like to say how helpful we have found the nurse-led service to be. My 85 year old father had treatment some years ago and since then it has been so simple to have his PSA checked. Every six months he is sent a blood test form and the results (happily OK so far) are phoned through to him by the nurse. So much easier than having to go to hospital and wait to see a doctor or consultant to hear the results! It must save the consultants and other hospital staff so much time as well. Thanks very much – long may this service continue.
