Peace of mind

THIS POST HAS ALSO BEEN POSTED ON THE PEBL SITE WHICH IS DEDICATED TO TALK ABOUT HIV SELF TESTING.

Thought I would tell my story because I know there will be other people like me – searching the internet for information on HIV – on how likely it is you could have caught it – symptoms, statistics etc – trying to pluck up the courage to take the test.
The home test is brilliant – it arrived so quickly, discreet packaging (looked like a DVD arriving), fitted through the letter box so no worrying about missing the postie. The instructions are really straightforward, I was worried about the finger prick, but it’s nothing. My result was negative and I feel a weight has been lifted of my mind. Even if the result is positive, you need to know so you can get started on treatment and live a healthy life. Finally, I would just like to say thank you to those who campaigned and persuaded the government to allow home testing, and biosure for providing it. So, anyone reading this review – you should definitely buy it so you know your status.
