“No” to assisted dying

I am a practicing and devout Catholic and I think that the NHS should never assist people to die. They shouldn’t stop people’s food or water and they should never turn off life supporting machines – It’s not up to us if a person lives or dies.  The doctors should always do as much as possible to maintain life. I carry a card in my purse that states these as my wishes and says my life should be maintained whatever my condition or what they think will happen.
