Making simple arrangements can help hugely....
My friend was dying with cancer and wasn’t really prepared to talk about anything – but she was very concerned about what would happen to her dog. When she made arrangements for who would look after her dog when she couldn’t move around, it was a huge relief to her and a great help. It’s not the kind of thing that a lot of people think of! But knowing what would happen to her pet the day she died and afterwards allowed her to be much more calm and really helped. The simple arrangements matter very much.
