The out of hours service
One friday evening i had to call out the district nurse to change a blocked catheter for my wife. having changed the catheter the nurse was worried about the flow rate and put in a call for a doctor at 9-40 pm.at 10-15 pm i phoned to find out how long we would have to wait and was told that we was on a list.another hour went by no phone call we ended up in a&e.this is not the first time we have been let down. in my opinion the system is rubbish
