Worry on accuracy

Hi there

Was a bit worried about the accuracy of my Biosure test. Basically I got a good sample of blood but was wondering why it wasn’t going up the strip properly when I pushed it into the holder. I realised after 10 mins that I hadnt pushed it properly and at this point I pushed harder and the liquid instantly went up the strip. I got a clear single line towards the top which was the same after 15 mins. I suppose my worry is that initial 10 mins where I had not pushed hard enough. Is this an issue do you think?

Thanks

Hi namely nick, As long as you waited 15 minutes after pushing the test device further into the buffer pot to read your result then your result can be relied upon. The presence of the control line indicates that your test was performed correctly (even after realising that the test was not initially running) and if the control line was the only line present at 15 minutes then your result is negative and accurate. I hope this helps. Kindest regards, Becky
