Weight off my mind
My advice, for what it’s worth, is just do it. I had a grey cloud hanging over me for years not knowing my status, compounded by the discovery that my ex girlfriend had what I would consider a “high risk” past. The first day I got the kit I just stared at it for half an hour then put it in a drawer. Three days later, I summoned the stones to go through with it and the test came back negative. Years of not knowing, and recent months of fairly serious doubts, are now at an end and I now feel like I can move forward with life.
